We believe the Holy Spirit draws men and women to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church. The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. We believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute.
OUR HISTORY
1863
Began as Missionary Baptist Church of Christ Worshipping at Pleasant Grove in a one room cabin, shared with a Methodist group
1900s
Moved 1/2 mile south, building a new building housing Pleasant Grove Bpatist Church, also serving as a schoolhouse
1940s
Central School was built as local schools consolidated. First graduating class was 1952.
1980s
State mandated consolidation began, whereas Central School became Trumann Middle School
2009

Soon after the school moved, Pleasant Grove Baptist purchased the Central School Building, relocated, and renamed themselves Central Community Church
